RainbowHome is intended for homeowners and housing societies in India who are at least 18 years old. By using it you confirm you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

RainbowHome is an independent information and aggregation service. It provides non-binding estimates for rooftop solar economics, rainwater-harvesting potential, and water-quality risk, and it lists certified installers and financing options. An estimate is not a quote, an offer, or a guarantee. Final pricing, feasibility, and compliance always require a site survey or assessment by a certified professional.

Our numbers are derived from average and published data — your DISCOM's tariffs, MNRE benchmarks, the central government's rooftop-solar subsidy scheme, state rainfall and rainwater-harvesting mandates, and water-hardness data — as of the dates cited in each calculator. Real-world results depend on your site, equipment, usage, weather, and regulatory changes. We make no warranty that any estimate is accurate, complete, or current.

RainbowHome is informational only. It is not engineering, financial, legal, or health advice. Water-quality checks are a guidance tool based on the information you provide and area-level data; they are not a laboratory test and are not a substitute for one. Consult a certified installer, a qualified financial adviser, or an accredited water-testing lab before making a decision.

You may use RainbowHome to evaluate solar, rainwater harvesting, and water quality for your own home or society. You may not scrape, crawl, automate, resell, or redistribute the service or its data except through interfaces we expressly provide for that purpose (for example, our documented agent and API endpoints, used within their stated limits).

If you submit your contact details to request a site survey, quote, or loan offer, we share those details with one or more certified installer partners for the purpose of arranging the survey, as set out in the privacy policy. If you specifically select a financing partner, your details are also shared with that partner to surface a loan offer. We share only with your explicit consent at the moment of submission, and we do not sell your data.

RainbowHome compares loan terms published by Indian banks and NBFCs under the central government's rooftop-solar subsidy scheme (solar vertical) and general home-improvement loan products applicable to rainwater-harvesting installations (water vertical). We are not a lender, banking correspondent, or loan service provider. We do not collect KYC documents, do not process or approve loan applications, and earn no spread on the interest rate. The "Apply" button on every financer page redirects to the lender's own page; all loan applications happen there.

For the water vertical, RainbowHome is not a regulated water utility, water board, or compliance certifier, and not a water-testing laboratory. Mandate compliance and final sign-off belong to your state's water board (for example BWSSB in Karnataka, CMWSSB in Tamil Nadu). We explain what compliance means and connect you to certified installers; the inspection and certification are theirs.

Loan terms, subsidy figures, tariffs, and mandate rules shown on RainbowHome reflect public disclosures and may change without notice. Always verify the current rate, eligibility, documents, and mandate text on the relevant official portal before acting.

RainbowHome receives a one-time referral fee from an installer or lender when a homeowner chooses their service through RainbowHome. This referral fee is paid by the partner, not by you, and does not change the price or rate you pay. Partners commit contractually to passing through the same pricing they offer direct customers. Our recommendations are produced by transparent, rules-based scoring, not by who pays the most.

Installers, financers, and water boards are independent third parties. RainbowHome does not perform installations, issue loans, or certify compliance, and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, pricing, workmanship, or decisions of any partner. Your dealings with a partner — including any contract, survey, or loan — are solely between you and that partner.

The RainbowHome name, content, calculators, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own evaluation. All other rights are reserved.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RainbowHome and Wandx Solutions Pvt Ltd are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or your reliance on any estimate. For the free consumer product, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service, which is zero.

You agree to indemnify and hold RainbowHome harmless against claims arising out of your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also restrict or suspend your access if you misuse it or breach these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore.

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. You may not assign your rights under these terms; we may assign ours to a successor entity.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of RainbowHome after changes constitutes acceptance.
